iPhone 7 to Get Truly Wireless Beats Headphones on Launch
For a while now, different sources have claimed that Apple is working to cut the dependence of on the headphone jack on their phones. One way to do that would be creating proper, official wireless headphones – which has also been rumored in the past. Now, fresh rumors claim that the iPhone 7 launch will be accompanied by those wireless headphones.
According to alleged inside information collected by 9to5Mac, the company is working on a truly wireless version of Beats.
The model they are supposedly making is a totally redone and revamped version of wireless beats that are going to be designed like the Bragi Dash. By truly wireless we mean that there won’t be any cord involved, not even between the two earbuds.
Since the headphones are being related to Bragi Dash, the price point is also expected to be somewhere on the same lines. Bragi Dash costs $299, and because these Apple headphones won’t be a part of the iPhone 7 box, you could be looking at a similar price.
Feature wise, the sources claim that they are also going to be equipped with a noise-canceling microphone system which means you will be able to use them for more than just listening to music and do things like video calls, phone calls, using Siri and so on. They will also have different sizes of earbud sleeves for different sizes of ears.
Talking of charging solutions, users will just need to use the charging pod that will come with them i.e. there will be no charging jack in the headphones as well. Battery is expected to last four hours on continuous play.
Going back to the rumor about iPhone 7 losing the headphone jack, it has also been revealed that the phone’s standard EarPods will come with a Lightning Cable to use right where you put the cord for charging.
