With the newer versions of processors making it to the market recently, overclocking is becoming a little harder than it used to be. However, some good hands have managed to show off their Skylake overclocking. If you managed the feat as well, we have a medium to help you measure up how well it went.

The list of Skylake overclocking performances in question has been compiled by Eric Lin, a known overclocker who has also published a list for Haswell overclocking. In case you are keeping this bookmarked for later, here are some of the average results:
An average core clock of approximately 4.7 GHz has been achieved by all those who have submitted their results in there. Interestingly, the person who ranked at number 11 didn’t even use a K-unlocked chip. He got 4.8GHz with a 6400 CPU and a Blck of 177.8.
The person on top of that list is Brumbaer who managed to hit 5GHz with a 1.6 Vcore – beat that!
