Huawei P9 To Feature A Whopping 6GB of DDR4 RAM?
Huawei is ready to kick-start the new year with a bang, as the company is expected to announce their upcoming flagship smartphone, the Huawei P9, during CES 2016. Now, the word on the street is that the new P9 could sport 6GB of RAM, while memory will most likely be running at DDR4 speeds. The SoC will however be the same as featured by its predecessor,that is the Kirin 950.
In addition to that, the Chinese phone maker is said to unveil three variants of the device, as it did with the Huawei P8. Below are the alleged screen sizes and RAM count that could be on board the following models.
- P9 Lite (5.0 inch screen size with 4GB RAM)
- P9 (5.2 inch screen size with 6GB RAM)
- P9 Max (6.8 inch screen size with 6GB RAM)
You are advised to take the aforementioned details with a grain of salt though, as nothing is official yet.
As for photography features, the upcoming models will incorporate rear camera sensors from Sony with an odd model name, the dual Exmor IMX2X6. Each of these dual camera sensors will have a max. image resolution of 13MP, but there are no details regarding the max. image resolution of the front shooter.
