Multi-Disc Xbox 360 Games To Be Available Soon Through Xbox One Backwards Compatibility
Xbox One’s recently released backwards compatibility feature to support Xbox 360 games has been a huge game changer for Xbox in this current generation console race. With a library of more than 100 Xbox 360 titles available to play on Xbox One, with 3 being free every month through Games with Gold program, backwards compatibility is one feature that even PS4 fans agree is a much more consumer friendly move than Sony’s PlayStation classics or PS2 emulated titles.
The backwards compatibility feature has however been missing one key component – the ability to play multi-disc Xbox 360 games. That might soon be changing though if the tweets from official Deus Ex Twitter account are to be believed.
The tweet by Deus Ex account confirms that Xbox team is working on making multi-disc games a reality and Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut will be available early next year as well as the Missing Link DLC.

While Deus Ex: Human Revolution, released in 2011, is part of the December line-up for backwards compatible titles on Xbox One, many fans are actually waiting for the Director’s Cut of the game which is basically the ultimate GOTY-special edition and includes better graphics, AI reactions and improved boss battles.
However, since Director’s Cut of the game was a multi-disc title, it isn’t available to play on Xbox One as of yet because of the system’s limitation.
Since the Xbox team won’t just work on a single game to add multi-disc support, this means more titles will follow soon.
