HTC One X9 Images Leak, Takes Inspiration From A9
HTC managed to impress quite a few with its One A9 smartphone. Granted, it took a lot of design inspirations from the iPhone, but it was still nevertheless a sturdy and impressive cellphone, despite being a mid-ranged device.
Rumors of HTC adapting these design decisions for their next flagship phone have been flying around for a while, but now, for the first time, we have actual images.
The HTC One X9 is going to be the Taiwanese manufacturer’s next flagship, and official images of the phone have been leaked.
Like the A9, the back is a lot like the iPhone 6/6S, but it manages to retain its own unique look on the front side. The device features a metal
build, and unlike the A9, comes with HTC’s signature stereo BoomSound dual speakers up front, though this time being a little less pronounced than its previous flagships.
The battery is also believed to have been upgraded to a 3,000 mAh one instead of the rather fickle 2,150 mAh found in the A9. That shouldn’t be a surprise though, as the One X9 has a large phablet screen of 5.5 inches. It is said to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek 67295 chipset, boasting 2/3GB RAM, a 13-megapixel primary shooter with optical stabilization, and an UltraPixel camera on the front.
The One X9 hasn’t had an official announcement yet, but the handset has been cleared in the certification process in China, and with these leaked images, you can expect an official announcement in early 2016.
