Free To Play PES 2016 Announced For December 8
While FIFA game franchise is undoubtedly the most popular and widely played soccer video game, its rival Pro Evolution Soccer is by no means a slouch and has a pretty decent loyal fan following making it a worthy contender against FIFA, even while lacking licenses for Premier League and Bundesliga.
Now to appeal to an even bigger audience as well as bring back old fans to the new installment in the franchise, Konami has announced that a free to play version of PES 2016 is being released for PS3 and PS4. It’s described as an “entry-level version” of the game, featuring Exhibition Mode with seven teams, including Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil, and France and two others.
This version of the game will also let gamers play online as well as offline with full access to myClub mode and all its features to create their own team and advance team progression through in-game currency or micro-transactions.
Konami has also said the free to play version of PES 2016 will continue to receive future gameplay and content updates throughout the entire PES 2016 season for those who still don’t feel like buying the full game.
PES 2016 was originally released for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on 15th September, however only PlayStation users will have access to the free version of the game which will be released on 8th December.
