It’s Official: PlayStation 4 Remote Play Coming to PC and MAC
Just a couple of days ago, we reported about an unofficial app that effectively allows users to take advantage of the PlayStation 4 Remote Play feature on PC. Users of the app are able to connect their console to the PC via the wireless technology, and stream the content using the classic window or the whole screen.
The arrival of this unofficial app requested the Japanese giant, in a loud voice, to release an official application dedicated to Remote Play on PC. Well the company was quick in hearing that voice as Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Worldwide Studios President, via Twitter has officially announced that their development team is currently working on an official Remote Play application for PC and Mac.
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. 😀

We don’t know yet when the application will actualy be released, but that shouldn’t take long considering the PlayStation Experience is just around the corner. The long-awaited event exclusive to PlayStation will take place in San Francisco, precisely at Moscone West, on 5 and 6 December.
