Leaked Nokia C-1 Images Surface Online; Far from Being Authentic
According to a recently surfaced image, it appears like Nokia returning to smartphone market with a new device called Nokia C-1.
The image in discussion – which can be seen below – originally appeared on the Chinese website, Weibo:
Since there is no confirmation from Nokia, you should take this image with a grain of salt. According to PhoneArena; the power button and volume buttons placement are way out of place and impractical for a smartphone, not to mention the entire device has a very artificial feel to it.
It is also worth noting that the image is also showing an Android interface and a Windows interface. This kind of suggests that the device may allow switching between Android and Windows operating systems. Moreover, the device is said to be manufactured by the Chinese Foxconn OEM.
All in all, it is highly unlikely that the device is real, but it would not come as a surprise if the rumors regarding the switchable operating systems and Foxconn OEM turn out to be true. Lastly, the agreement between Microsoft and Nokia forbids Nokia from releasing any device until Q4 of 2016.
