Xiaomi Set To Unveil Octa-Core Redmi Note 3 Tomorrow
There have been reports recently of the Chinese tech company Xiaomi working towards launching two new products on November 24th, one of them being a tablet known as Mi Pad 2. The identity of the other product so far was still unclear although it was believed to be Redmi Note 2 Pro, a slightly upgraded successor to Redmi Note 2 that has been available since August.
However, that theory no longer seems to hold true as a recent teaser published by Xiaomi suggests that the new device being unveiled on 24th could be called Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi themselves haven’t revealed any further information about the device but as always, some of the specifications have been leaked online.
According to these leaks, Redmi Note 3 will have a 5.5-inch screen that supports 1080p resolution, similar to the one in Redmi Note 2, although there is no mention whether it has Corning Gorilla Glass coating or not for extra protection. But given that it is pretty much a standard these days, it is highly possible that Xiaomi will announce its presence tomorrow during the reveal.
Furthermore, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes equipped with a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory. Another slightly upgraded model is also rumored that has 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. There is no word on memory card support yet.
There is no pricing or availability information available yet but it will undoubtedly be made available in China first.
