HTC One X9 Expected To Be The Next Big HTC Phone After One A9
HTC’s current flagship smartphone, One A9, isn’t even close to being available globally, but it looks like the Taiwan based company already has plans in motion for its next high end mobile device. According to PhoneRadar, the new flagship will be named One X9 and will be quite an expensive model although that should be fine especially given the specifications it’s expected to ship with.
According to the source, the One X9 will be equipped with a top of the line 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 820 from Qualcomm or even a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset. There is no information about the size of the screen One X9 will have but it is expected to feature a 1440p display resolution.
In terms of memory, the phone will have 4GB of RAM and as for storage, it is expected to have two models: one with 64GB internal storage and one with 128GB. There is also the possibility of a cheaper variant of One X9 for mid-tier market that would feature 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
Camera-wise, the One X9 is said to feature a stunning 23-megapixel rear-facing shooter with autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording, as well as a secondary 4-UltraPixel selfie camera on the front.
There is however no information regarding the version of Android OS it will run but it should be Android 6.0 out of the box since One A9 is launched with that as well.
Since One X9 is supposed to feature a full metal body and have a high battery capacity of around 3500mAh, that coupled with its specifications, the 64GB model is expected to be priced around $470.
