Global Distribution Of The Latest LG V10 Starts
LG Electronics has announced the start global sales of their new LG V10. The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch QHD IPS Quantum display, with a 2.1-inch secondary rectangular screen located just above the main one. The secondary display features a resolution of 1040 x 160 pixels and is used to display messages, weather and other information.
The V10, introduced at the beginning of October, will first come to the United States, then gradually reach China, Latin America and Europe, the company said. LG is expected to roll out a special edition for China, that comes with Gold profile and rear leather.
LG V10 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone boasts a double 5-megapixel front shooter that comes with an 80-degress Standard and 120-degrees Wide Angle, allowing users to take selfies of seven to eight people. The 16MP rear camera with f / 1.8 and laser autofocus also delivers professional high-end video recording, including Electro Image Stabilization.
Other features include dedicated audio chip Stereo DAC, support rei LTE-A Cat. 6, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, USB 2.0 and fingerprint sensor. The V10 runs on the Android Lollipop with custom interface, and includes 3000 mAh removable battery.
The announcement is made just one day after the South Korean tech giant reported disappointing quarterly earnings for its mobile business. LG said its mobile division reported an operating loss of 77.6 billion won (about 67.9 million dollars) in the third quarter, compared to an operating profit of 200 million won in the second quarter and a profit of 168.6 billion won last year.
