French Carrier Lists HTC One A9, Key Specs and Pricing Revealed
The key features as well as price of the HTC’s upcoming One A9 have apparently leaked online. French carrier Orange has accidentally listed the One A9, which is expected to go official on October 20.
As per the listing, the HTC One A9 will feature a 5-inch 1080p resolution display, 13MP main camera, and a 4MP front shooter. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s fresh new Snapdragon 617 SoC, paired with 2GB of RAM. The listing also confirms that the smartphone will indeed run the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
Earlier leaks claimed that the One A9 looked like a blatant copy of the iPhone 6 design, and these clearer images, direct from the product page, come to justify those leaks. While a unibody construction is no strange to HTC One M series, the One A9 is distinctively flat on the back that makes it look more like an iPhone 6.
We have seen the pictures and key specs of the device before though. What we didn’t know in the past however is the price of the One A9, which Orange displayed for a short period. The carrier listed the device at €599.90 (around $686), which does seem quite expensive given the mediocre specs of the device.
However, you should take the listing with a grain of sand as nothing is official as of yet. But you won’t have to wait too long for that as HTC is all set to unveil the One M9 at its October 20 event next week.
