AMD Releases New Workstation GPU Drivers, FirePro Unified Version 14.502.1045
AMD has just released a new FirePro Unified graphics card driver, aimed at workstation video cards such as AMD FirePro, FireStream and Radeon SKY.
The driver version, 14.502.1045 is also compatible with Windows 10, both 32-bit and 64-bit, so if your workstation is running Microsoft’s latest OS, you shouldn’t be worried at all when upgrading the driver.
The driver is said to boost 3D and server workstation application performance although there are reports that the update might cause some system issues such as hanging after rebooting the computer during audio driver and installation.
If someone is still interested in the update and the above mentioned issue isn’t much of a problem for them, they can proceed with the driver. Simply save and run the appropriate package for your configuration, wait for all required files to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen for a complete update.
After the update, even if the system doesn’t prompt the user to reboot the system, it’s better to still do it manually to ensure that the driver is fully installed and so that all changes can take effect.
