OnePlus Mini Spotted on Amazon India, Key Specs Inside
It seems that the next OnePlus smartphone may not be called the OnePlus X, if the latest leak is to be believed.
The upcoming OnePlus smartphone has accidentally been been listed on the Amazon India website, suggesting that the final marketing name of the device will be OnePlus Mini, and not OnePlus X.
As per the listing, the device will feature a metal frame around the body with Side Touch functionality. It will sport a 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and ClearForce technology.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Mini packs a MediaTek MT6795 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz, and coupled with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box with OxygenOS 3.0, and includes a 2450mAh Li-Po battery.
As for the photographic functions, the new OnePlus handset is expected to equip a 13MP rear shooter from Sony with f/2.0 aperture, and capable of shooting 4K video, while the front-facing snapper will be 5MP.
Various reports also claim that the alleged OnePlus Mini would bring back the NFC – a feature that was missing from OnePlus 2. On top of that, the phone will support Quick Charge via USB Type-C port.
The listing won’t reveal the pricing, but the device is expected to cost around $250. The smartphone has already been certified by the FCC and TENAA, meaning it would hit the shelves very soon.
