Asus ROG G752 Specs Revealed, Available for Pre-Order
Asus is a company primarily famous for two things: its top-of-the-line elite PC motherboards, and its amazing set of gaming laptops.
The latter has gotten a new addition in the form of the ROG G752, which is now available for pre-order.
The mammoth gaming laptop boasts a 17-inch screen, and comes in a variety of different configurations of choice. It was first unveiled by the company at IFA in Berlin last month, but back then the specs weren’t very concrete, nor was it available for preorder at that time.
Now, we have pretty much all the information we need about it. The G752 comes with a choice of either 1080p or 4K resolution on an IPS display, with the 6th Generation Intel Skylake Core i7 processor.
The unique feature of the Asus G752 is its mobile vapor chamber cooling system, which basically means that the laptop has independent dual-heat pipes to independently cool the GPU and the CPU, allowing for much cooler temperatures even at max TDP.
Speaking of GPU, the Asus G752 will come with 2x M.2 slots for high-speed SSDs, up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M graphics unit, 4x RAM with up to 64GB DDR4 memory, and a dust-release thermal solution. The laptop also comes with a backlit anti-ghosting keyboard and Thunderbolt 3.0 support over USB Type-C port.
The price for the most basic model is $1,499.
Asus is also expected to reveal its GX700 gaming laptop, which will feature the desktop version of the powerful Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 graphics card. Be sure to check back soon to hear about that monster.
