Corsair Releases MSI Seahawk GTX 980Ti Hydro-Cooled Benchmarks
Corsair has released a set of performance benchmarks for the powerful MSI GeForce GTX 980Ti Seahawk water-cooled graphics card.
This powerful version of the GeForce GTX 980Ti boasts roughly 20% overclocked speeds, but runs nearly 30 degrees cooler than the reference Nvidia GTX 980Ti while at Maximum TDP. All this only comes at the expense of 5 watts increased Maximum TDP, making the MSI variant not just extremely powerful, but also very efficient.
The result is nearly 15% improved performance while running on average temperatures of around 50 degrees Celsius on 4K resolution.
The MSI Seahawk GTX 980Ti uses the ‘Hydro’ H55 all-in-one cooler, and thanks to Nvidia’s excellent Maxwell chipsets, can actually be pushed beyond the overclocked speeds that come out of the box fairly easily.
The Seahawk GTX 980Ti is shaping up to be quite a contender as far as top of the line GPUs go. It certainly does have a stern challenger in EVGA’s own GTX 980Ti Hybrid version.
