You Can Use Android 6.0 on Nexus 4 With This ROM
The Nexus 4 sadly was excluded by Google in its list of Nexus devices that would get the latest iteration of the Android mobile operating system, Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
However, experienced users of the OS will know that all is not lost, as the versatility of Google’s system allows power users to root their devices and install customs ROMs to their devices.
One such ROM has allowed Android 6.0 to be used seamlessly on the Nexus 4. It’s based on the version that came out for the Nexus 7 (2013) tablet, which uses a similar SoC Snapdragon S4 Pro to the Nexus 4. It is combined with the Mako LMY48T to give a very genuine Marshmallow experience.
All the sensors, camera, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, data network and GPS function properly as reported by the developer.
You can download the custom ROM from here. Note that flashing a custom ROM is a highly advanced procedure, and should be left to experienced users only. You can get more information from the source here on how to install the ROM
