Pink HTC One M9 Will Go on Sale This Month for Breast Cancer Awareness
HTC’s flagship One M9 was revealed earlier this year at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona, and since then has done pretty decent in the market.
Now, the Taiwanese company is releasing a pink variant of the phone. The objective of the darkish pink HTC One M9 is to raise breast cancer awareness. This version will go on sale on October 31. There will be two versions to choose from: one of them is simply pink, while the other has an actual pink ribbon plastered on the back.
The phone is set to be priced at $649, but Verizon and Sprint subscribers won’t be able to acquire this limited edition, unfortunately.
So what makes this version so different from the regular One M9? Well, apart from the obvious color, HTC is throwing in around $150 worth of additional goodies to entice consumers. The phone will come with $100 Google Play Store credit, and a free pink Dot View case.
HTC has also announced that it will donate $24,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It’s a good gesture from HTC.
