HP Might Reveal a Star Wars-themed Windows 10 device on October 7
HP is likely to unveil a Star-Wars themed Windows 10 device. If the rumor turns out to be true, you can expect the company to show off the new device in just two days.
The U.S.-based IT company has a press event planned for 7 October in Barcelona, where Microsoft will join HP just a day after its Surface event. Details are scarce regarding what type of devices we can expect to see, though HP has just posted a teaser to Twitter that gives us at least one clue.
As shown above, the teaser on Twitter included what appears to be a laptop suspended in the space, opening up, and glowing. It is accompanied with the following caption:
Discover the power of the dark side on October 7th. #StarWars @HPSpecialEdition
So we can assume the PC maker is set to debut a Star Wars-themed Windows 10 device this week. However, you should take it with a grain of salt this is all just speculation. Thankfully, you won’t have to wait too long to know what HP is keeping under wraps.
In addition to HP, various other Microsoft partners will reveal Windows 10 devices this month. In fact, Microsoft offered a full schedule for when and where these third-party hardware announcements will take place:
- October 7, we’ll take the stage with HP in Barcelona
- October 8, we’ll be in New York City with Dell
- October 9, we’ll be in San Francisco, with ASUS
- October 12, we’ll be in Taipei with Acer
- October 13, we’ll be in Tokyo with Toshiba
- October 19 we’ll be back in San Francisco with Lenovo
It sounds like October is the month of Windows 10. We will bring you all the big reveals. So stay tuned!
