You Can Turn Your iPhone 6 into a VR Camera with Shot!
We know that iPhone 6 and the upcoming 6S pack some really impressive cameras, what if I told you that you could turn it into a virtual reality camera? Well, that is almost what a duo is making “Shot” for.
So what exactly are these kids trying to do? Lets let them explain:
In summary, Shot is a lens attachment composed of two lenses that increase the field of view of your phone’s camera, and an app that allows you to easily record and share immersive content.
Shot has a Kickstarter campaign running right now where a total of 213 people have pledged $14,863 so far. However, their final goal os of $100,619 goal and if you think the idea is good you can help them reach the target in the remaining 27 days.
These guys are promising 235-degree videos and 360-degree photos with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S (including the Plus versions, of course) using two fisheye lenses.
We are pretty excited about the prospects, but it will all depend on how lucrative the Kickstarter packers find this idea because otherwise the product might not even materialize.
Check out their campaign page for more information and see if you think the cardboard boxed gadget is something you would like to own for your iPhone 6 or not.
