G.Skill Unveils Ripjaws KM780 Mechanical Gaming Keyboards With RGB Switches
G.Skill today announced the availability of its new Ripjaws series of mechanical keyboards, namely, the KM780 RGB and KM780 MX devices.
Built with genuine Cherry RGB/MX key switches, the new keyboards feature 50 million keystroke durability in red, brown, and blue. The manufacturer has also used a 2 mm-thick aluminum plate on top of the keyboards for additional durability.
The keyboards are customized to include replaceable, dual-coat laser etched keycaps for fast tactile recognition. Further, each key is effectively locked down for a seamless typing experience.
Also, the board comes with a wide range of extra function buttons, like the five keys for controlling the media programs, as well as a roller that can control the audio.
Directly above the programmable keys are seven additional keys. Three of these are hotkeys (Windows lock, brightness, and timer), while the other four are easy-access keys that allow you to customize and switch your keyboard layouts on the fly.
The new G.Skill Ripjaws series mechanical gaming keyboards are slated to roll out starting from late September 2015 via authorized G.SKILL authorized worldwide distribution partners. Cherry Red and Brown variants will be initially available, while Cherry Blue will be available at a later date.
