Gigabyte has announced a new GTX 950 GPU-based GV-N950XTREME-2GD graphics card from their brand new XTREME GAMING series. The series is designed to deliver extreme gaming experience with its impressive overclocking performance and rock-solid durability.
Gigabyte states in the press release:
The GTX 950 XTREME GAMING graphics card is the first of many gamer-focused products that GIGABYTE will be rolling out this year. This graphics card is built upon the Super Overclock GPU along with the well-acclaimed WINDFORCE cooling solution featuring 3D-Active Fan to deliver the finest gaming experience and silent cooling performance in the same category.
The GTX 950 XTREME GAMING features exceptional overclocking, with the base clock up to 1203MHz and the boost clock pushed to 1405MHz from 1190MHz. The 2GB DDR5 memory is also overclocked to 7GHz “for the sharpest and smoothest gameplay results.”
The card allows gaming enthusiasts to enjoy 4K ultra settings on popular MOBA games, delivering 65% or more improvement over the GTX 750Ti.
The GTX 950 XTREME GAMING is incorporated with the WINDFORCE 2X cooling system with pure direct-touch copper heat pipes and the 3D-Active fans. The unique blade fan design effectively enhances the air flow “to increase the cooling capacity while reducing air turbulence at a very low noise level.”
As for connectivity, the card sports one Dual-Link DVI-I, one HDMI and three DisplayPort connectors, while utilizes a single 8-pin connector for power.
