German PSU manufacturer be quiet! has extended the Dark Power Pro 11 series with three new models that come in the form of 550, 650 and 750 Watt capacity. The new additions carry the 94% 80PLUS Platinum efficiency rating and aimed at users who require more modest energy requirements than the current premium Dark Power Pro line.
The trio offers a decent set of features including modular cable management, fan connectors controlled by a temperature sensor, and the Overclocking Key. The latter allows PSU to shunt all of its four separate 12V rails down a single rail, delivering maximum performance under high loads.
All the three power supplies utilize a SilentWings 3 in 135-milimeter format, for near-silent operation. The fan is equipped with modern 6-pole motor and airflow-optimized fan blades that alleviate the noise level to the absolute minimum.
be quiet! has also incorporated “Fluid Dynamic Bearing,” the low startup speed of 220 rotations per minute and the funnel-shaped air intake. In addition, the power supply housing comprises of “rubber linings so that it is decoupled from the PC case, preventing the transfer of vibrations between the two.”
