Acer Introduces New Predator Gaming Monitor Models
When it comes to gaming displays/monitors, I think Acer is among the top dogs. Its line-up of gaming products is one of the most powerful with amazing designs.
If you don’t agree, may be you will after looking at the amazing Predator gaming monitors, currently on display at IFA 2015. They come with a curved 2560×1080 VA, and a very impressive 144Hz native refresh rate.
The most interesting part of these displays, however, is their ability to be overclocked. Users can push refresh rates to 200Hz, according a claim from Acer.
There are different Predator models and one of which is Predator Z35 display, which is 35-inch with a curved 21:9 aspect ratio. It comes with a resolution of 2560×1080. If you’re interested in picking it up, you’ll have to wait till December.
Z35 supports 16.7 million colors with 100 percent of the sRGB spectrum. Z35 is not something to be taken lightly, literally, as it weighs 28 pounds.
Also, this model has 3,000 native contrast ratio.
On the other hand, we have Predator XB1 that has three different 4K variants. One of these variants is 28-inch, while other two are 27-inch versions.
Nvidia G-Sync tech is supported by all models.
On a related note, Acer also showed a new Predator Projector for gaming at IFA. You can read more about that, here.
