LG Will Soon Release 23-Karat Gold Limited Edition Watch Urbane Luxe
If you are an admirer of classic watches, but are into modern day smartwatches as well, LG has a great product for you. The smartphone maker is working on a new smartwatch with 23-karat gold that is a limited edition from the company.
It supports classic leather strap with alligator skin, and looks highly elegant. The strap went through 50 steps before being made by 30 experienced leather workers.
The product is the result of a partnership between LG and REEDS Jewelers in U.S. The new watch is named LG Watch Urbane Luxe and comes in a piano-gloss lacquer case.
Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company, said:
Wearable devices should not be thought of as an extension of one’s smartphone but an extension of oneself. This blending of craftsmanship and technology is a natural evolution of the smartwatch, which is becoming more of a lifestyle accessory than a piece of hardware.
Those interested in LG Watch Urbane Luxe can pre-order it from REED’s website. Only 500 of these will be made and each will go for US$1,200.
LG will release this watch in October but it will be available for public viewing from 4 to 9 September at IFA 2015, Berlin, Germany.
So will you be picking up LG Watch Urbane Luxe?
