Xbox One Mini Rumors Quashed by Phil Spencer of Microsoft
If you are a gamer and one that likes to get hold of the newest consoles that come out, you would have been excited (maybe?) to hear that an Xbox One Mini was being manufactured by Microsoft.
However, I think you should stop jumping with glee on that because all those rumors that the news is based on were not true. The confirmation has come from the head of Xbox division at Microsoft, Phil Spencer who sometimes reveals things like this through his personal accounts.
For that matter, he is pretty active on Twitter where he was asked whether the rumors about an Xbox One Mini were true or not. With a simple two worded phrase he replied to deny the existence of any such thing.
@av_xz Not real.

While the idea of a more compact console, as the rumor suggested, would have made sense in today’s world – every company is trying to get things better performance wise while they continuously try to cut down the sizes of their products – so far Microsoft does not reciprocate that idea.
Moreover, when the Xbox One was launched it was agreed by most of the analysts and fans that the size of the machine seriously needs to be smaller. However, the performance of the console has managed to shut down those criticisms.
That being said, while the Xbox One Mini is not a real thing, does it also prove that Microsoft is not working on another model of their console at all?
