iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus Prices Leak Out, 16GB base model Confirmed
The pricing for Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus has surfaced, and with no surprises, the new iPhone 6s duo will come with the same pricing model that Apple has been using in years past. The leak originates from a Dutch site Techtastic.nl, which apparently got hold of pricing information for Dutch carriers.
The source also claims that the official release date for the iPhone 6s will be September 25th. However, keep in mind that Netherlands won’t be the first to get Apple’s new flagship phone, which is said to arrive the US, Germany and France on September 18th.
The latest leak once again reiterates that 16GB base model will stay around for another product cycle, and will be available along with 64GB and a 128GB versions.
Here’s the pricing for Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus:
As for specifications, the iPhone 6S will sport a 4.7 inches screen whereas the iPhone 6S Plus will be fitted with a 5.5 inches display. Both the handsets are expected to feature the upcoming iOS 9 OS and could be a tad bit thicker than the current iPhone.
Among the major improvements expected to come to the iPhone 6s family are:
– support for Force Touch
– new, 12-megapixel iSight (rear) camera with support for 4K video recording
– new, animated live wallpapers
– Apple A9 system chip, 2GB of RAM
– updated front camera
– new cellular modem by Qualcomm
The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be unveiled on September 9 and pre-orders are likely to start as early as September 11.
