iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak on iPhone 6 Teased at HackPwn2015
Being someone who likes to jailbreak their smartphones and at the same time being an iPhone 6 user has certainly not been a good combination until of late. However, this might be about to change as iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak has been teased at the recently held HackPwn2015!
The security conference that was held very recently brought forth an number of things people would be interested in but it appears that the possibility of iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak is the biggest.
Now I am not saying that the jailbreak is already there, Pangu, who teased the feature at the conference says that it is just a demonstration that the jailbreak is possible.
The Chinese jailbreak development team can be expected to work on it and hopefully come up with the final product now that they have shown how it is possible; but honestly I think they would rather wait for iOS 9 since it is going to be out for developer preview by September.
Flaws that were used by TaiG team for iOS 8.1.3 to iOS 8.4.0 were all patched alongside some other flaws by Apple in iOS 8.4.1 very recently when they rolled out the latest version with almost 50 areas being patched.
The iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak is not the first achievement of Pangu Team as they are also credited with being the first ones to jailbreak iOS 8.
