Huawei Nexus 6 Apparently Comes With the Same Rear Finger Scanner as LG Nexus 5
According to a new report and some leaked images, Huawei Nexus 6 will feature the same rear finger scanner as LG’s Nexus 5.
Google has partnered with plenty of smartphone giants for its Nexus brand, but Huawei was never a partner up until now. The finger sensor was first seen in the LG Nexus 5 and it was expected to be featured in the next device as well, and here we have it.
Other details reveal that Nexus 6 will feature a 5.7-inch display, more than enough for all of your viewing needs. The release date is yet to be announced by Google, but it expected to hit the market in Fall 2015.
Google has been following a very similar pattern when it comes to releasing Nexus devices, so it is indeed safe to say that Fall 2015 is the release window for Nexus 6.
Pricing is also missing, but expect the new smartphone to be £499+. Although nothing has been said about the OS, but it is highly likely that Nexus 6 will come with Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, aka Android M. Even if it doesn’t, it will definitely be the first one to be updated.
It is also rumored that USB-C is making it to Nexus 6.
Take the details with a grain of salt, and wait for official information. Until then, take to the comments and let us know what features would you like to see in Nexus 6.
