HTC O2 Rumored Specs and Details Paint a Pretty Impressive Picture
After getting mix reactions for the HTC M9, it seems HTC is ready to bring us a new device that hits the mark in every department.
According to rumors, HTC O2 is in the works at HTC and some leaked specs paint a really impressive picture for the new smartphone. HTC O2 will ship with a 6-inch 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution display. That means a 490ppi pixel density for HTC O2.
On top of that, Snapdragon 820 chipset is used which comes with a quad-core CPU, four custom Hydra cores. On the GPU side of things, we have Adreno 530.
RAM is 4GB and HTC O2 will come in 64GB and 128GB variants. The rear camera is 20.7MP but the front is bit disappointing as it is only 5MP. Still, it’s enough for a good enough selfie.
HTC O2 will feature a 3500mAh battery, but we don’t yet know if it’ll be removable or not. My money is on non-removable by the way.
Front panel is going to be narrow with thin bezels on the sides. Also, front side BoomSound speakers are back for HTC O2.
A report claims that a 5-inch HTC O2 variant will also be released next year, which is going to feature 2K or 4K resolution.
Keep in mind that all the details are unofficial and are not confirmed by HTC. We’ll let you know as soon as more details come our way.
