Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Goes On Sale Tomorrow For $125
Xiaomi is ready to give some solid competition to smartphone makers, with a brand new smartphone device. Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will be unleashed in a short while and is offering exceptional features at a reasonable price.
Xiaomi’s budget flagship device is priced at $125 and will release tomorrow (August 14). It comes with a 5.5inch display and 16GB of built-in memory. Redmi Note 2 also features dual SIM. Users can enjoy 4G LTE on one SIM, while 3G on the other.
However, those who wish to have full LTE support will have to pay $15 extra, that’ll bring the total up to $140. There is also a 32GB model that’ll cost you a little extra, but can be yours for $155.
Note 2 features octa-core MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. The entry level model was duo processor which runs at 2GHz.
MediaTek chips aren’t the most powerful and users would have preferred something from Snapdragon. Both devices come with 2GB of RAM, more than enough for multi-tasking. The 5.5 display supports full HD 1080p resolution and the smartphone is lighter compared to last year’s model.
It weighs 160 grams and measures 8.3 mm thick.
The rear cam comes in at 13MP while the front camera is 5MP. Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is running the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop.
