Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Full Specs and Pricing Revealed
Samsung is all set to announce two of its highly-anticipated smartphones, the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, at its Galaxy Unpacked event. While the web ablaze with rumours surrounding these two devices right now, a solid leak has revealed almost all the core specs of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus ahead of the official unveiling.
A Romanian retailer (via PhoneArena) recently listed four different models of the upcoming S6 Edge Plus to its website. The page has now been taken down.
The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will apparently sport a 5.67-inch Super AMOLED 2560×1440 display, protected by Gorilla Glass 4. The device will be driven by Samsung’s own eight core Exynos 7420 chip, clocked in at 1.5Ghz. There will also be 4GB of RAM and a Mali-T760MP8 graphics chip.
The phone will boast a 16 megapixel rear camera with a 5 megapixel one on the front. It will pack a 3000 mAh battery, which seems a little on the low side considering the other high-end specs.
The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will allegedly come with a price tag of $1012 USD for the 32-GB model, and about a Benjamin more for the 64 GB version.
In addition to this, Samsung France has just ‘accidentally’ put up a pre-order page for the upcoming dual-edged phablet from Samsung revealing that consumers will be able to pre-order the device on Aug. 21, 2015.
