ASUS Brings Maximus VIII Lineup of Motherboards for Intel Z170
For all those enthusiasts out there, ASUS has brought a way too early Christmas present. The company has announced three Maximus VIII motherboards, that will support the new Skylake CPU.
ASUS introduces The Maximus VIII Hero, Maximus VIII Ranger, and Maximus VIII Gene.
ASUS has added almost everything a PC builder can desire into these motherboards. They are made to keep performance on the up, and compliment Skylake in every way possible.
As expected, focus is on overclocking and premium construction. However, ASUS is going for ease-of-use with these new boards.
Signature features of these cards include:
5-Way Optimization on ROG: All of the enhancements enjoyed by ASUS signature motherboards have arrived on ROG, complete with award-winning automated overclocking and unmatched fan controls.
SupremeFX 2015: Onboard audio reinvented by ROG. Best-in-class integrated audio utilizes a special shield design, ESS® ES9023P DAC and an exhaustive list of professional-grade audio components, with op-amps powerful enough to drive 2VRMS to any headset.
Optimized, Protected Networking: Intel Ethernet + LANGuard + GameFirst Technology all combine to keep ping low and connection stability high, without impacting in-game performance.
And these are just some of the features you’ll get to see. There is also KeyBot II, Extreme Engine DIGI+, and Overwolf. You can read more about that here.
An enticing lineup indeed, right?
