Get your free Noctua mounting hardware for LGA 115x NOW
Noctua has announced that it will offer a free mounting kit for LGA 115x, so that consumers using older CPU coolers have no compatibility issues.
Noctua has always been loyal to its customers when it comes to their hardware and products. It has always given new mounting hardware for your older coolers, so that you don’t have to throw away your older CPU coolers.
Intel has a trend of releasing a new generation of CPUs after every year and a half, and with new generations come new sockets and your older mounting hardware and cooler too would go to waste if not for Noctua.
Although these CPU sockets don’t change immediately, like 4th and 5th generations have same sockets but over time they do change, 3rd and 4th gen Intel cpus do not have same socket specifications. In this situation, you’d want Noctua to provide you with a suitable Mouting Hardware.
Obviously, that is only if you want to move onto the next gen of Intel processors. Those who bought their coolers for 3rd or 4th gen of processors can retain their mouting hardware since it is easily compatible with the 5th gen too.
But Noctua has gone out of its way to support the community who have coolers as old as 2005. The free NM-i115x will support every Noctua cooler as far back as 2005. Noctua can ship your kit anywhere in the world if you provide a proof of purchase of your older kit whenever you bought it.
To do that, you need to send a photo, scan of your Noctua cooler and an LGA 115x socket Motherboard or a processor.
