Get Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge with Drastically Lower Prices across Europe
Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are the latest flagship devices by the company. It packs with an absolute beast of an octa-core processor and is built with all metal and glass. Yes! Finally a Samsung device that doesn’t feel cheap while holding in your hands.
But with great features comes great price. This is where Samsung failed to strategize its market. Both the S6 and S6 Edge were heavily priced at the time of release. This urged majority of smartphone consumers and Apple fanboys alike to go and get the latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
In this way apple ate a huge chunk of Samsung’s market share of high-end devices. And, for the low-end market, Huawei and Xioami did the rest to cause Samsung a 38% loss in profits.
However, finally Samsung has come to senses and has dropped prices on Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. In Netherlands, 32Gb S6 is now available for €599 – a price drop of €100. But if you like S6 Edge better, you can now save 150 Euros and buy it for €699 which was initially priced at €850.
It’s a good move by Samsung and a much-needed one but if you ask me, it’s too late. Who would buy an S6 device if you already have a iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 plus?
