EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N Launched!
Good news for all overclockers out there, the reported ‘top clocking 980 Tis’ have launched just today at super high prices. EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N Edition GPU is absolutely focused on overclocking.
These pre-binned GPUs are coming directly from mAIB partners for all CPU overclockers. The almost guaranteed oveclocks have been available for quite some time now but this seems like the perfect opportunity for all those looking for overclocks.
The EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N has been designed in partnership with Vince “K|NGP|N” Lucido who are renowned for their expertise in overclocks. This one card includes a remarkable ACX 2.0+ copper heatsink, triple BIOS, cooling plates, 12 PCB layers and 14+3 digital phase VRM.
This card is also permitting its consumers to select their own ASIC quality. The ASIC quality determines the GPU’s leakage levels which further influence the overclocking. The users are taking a huge risk with this purchase because EVGA does not guarantee an overclock number like the Silicon Lottery does.
Cards that have higher ASIC levels are more likely to reach higher clocks. The prices are set pretty high. Where the premium 980Tis are available in the market under $700 USD, these cards start from $850.
The EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti K|NGP|N with 72% ASIC will cost you around $849.99 USD, the 74% at $899.99, 76% at $999.99 and 80% at $1049.99. These figures are high but those who are looking for better overclocking performance might be willing to invest in these cards.
We don’t know for sure if these cards are actually as good as they seem to be. Have you purchased on already or read a review somewhere? Share you experience right here and let us know!
