Apple Watch Has Sold 3 Million Units, Sales Still Worrisome
Apple Watch has been out in the market for a decent amount of time and many consider its performance lackluster.
However, since Apple chose not to share any type of sales data related to the Apple Watch, no one can say how well or poorly the watch is performing in the market.
While Cupertino didn’t reveal how many units are sold, some new data has surfaced which gave us an idea of Apple Watch’s market performance.
According to this information, Apple Watch has sold 3 million units in the United States via online storefronts.
The sales figures are for three months ended July 10.
Specifically, the watch has moved 3,039,353 units at an average price of $505.
Among the total sales number, 1,950,909 units were the Apple Watch Sports Edition, which sold for an average price of $381.
Another 1,086,569 unites were sold from the Apple Watch Stainless Steel stock, for an average price of $685.
The Apple Watch Edition, also known as the Apple Watch Gold, managed to sell 1,875 units to date, for an average price of a whopping $13,700.
These sales numbers look just good enough, but surely Apple would have expected more.
Keep in mind that these numbers aren’t official so take them with a grain of salt.
The company is about share its earning on July 21, where it will present more concrete and more importantly official details about its products.
Hopefully, during the investors meeting, the company will make such details public so you and I will get to talk and share our opinions about it.
