Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Tri-X Specifications Leaked
Sapphire’s Radeon R9 Fury Tri-X graphics card’s specs and details were leaked by VideoCardz, the website confirms all the features of the card.
These models have been made in collaboration with AMD’s AIB partners and are expected to release within days at a price of $549 US dollars. Few days back, rumors were that the ‘Non-X’ Radeon R9 Fury will feature a cut down Fiji GPU with an optimized price.
The fact that this new GPU will also be slower when compared to Radeon R9 Fury X becomes secondary when it is coming out at a price of $100 USD. AMD Fiji Pro GPU is the largest single chip ever produced by AMD and it is based on 28nm process.
The Radeon R9 Fury features 56 stream processors each packed in 64 compute units. When all these combined together they almost sum up to 224 texture mapping units, 64 Raster operation units and 3584 stream processors.
The clock speed of Radeon R9 Fury is lower than Radeon R9 Fury X, to be precise the R9 Fury (non-x) maintains a 1000 MHz engine clock while the R9 Fury X has 1050 MHz engine clock speed. The Sapphire Cards measure at 1000 MHz and 1040 MHz, these are two cards while the GPU is in the same league as GeForce GTX Titan X with 7.2 TFlops of compute performance.
The graphics card also features a HBM VRAM of 4 GB with 500 MHz clock speed. It also has 512 GB/s bandwidth and a bus interface of 4096-bit running memory. The Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Tri-X will reportedly be priced at around $549 USD however; the Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury Tri-X OC will be available for purchase for $599 USD.
