New Hitman Game Takes Its Roots From Blood Money, Thank God!
IO Interactive revealed their new Hitman game during E3, which will be released later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Many consider Blood Money as the perfect Hitman game and want this new installment to have its roots there.
Those who wish for this to happen will be happy to know that according to early impressions of the game, new Hitman takes inspiration from Blood Money and we will see similar elements.
Square Enix recently held a closed alpha and as expected, details started to bleed out. According to a fan who participated in the alpha event and played the game on PC:
You must have a 360 controller to play it. So far I’m really enjoying! I find it to be closer to Blood Money than it is to Absolution so far. It also appears to be quite a fairly taxing game on the hardware… 2x gtx 660 (doesn’t not support sli yet). Uniforms play a much more important role in this game, at least in this mission.
Players will have more than one option to complete a contract and approach a target. For example, a building can be accessed via the front door, climb-up poles from the sides, use windows and hanging over ledges is also a possibility, use different costumes etc.
Side missions can make your mission easier; disable the small stock exchange meeting, take somebody out so a main target has to take their place….
The game also doesn’t have that feeling Absolution had that made it feel like a very linear game, just with a couple of paths to get to the end.
Overall a very solid game so far! Just playing this Alpha has added it to my games list this year among Fallout 4 and Deus Ex: MD which both happen to be in my top 5 favorite games if that says anything
Looks like we are finally getting the Hitman game we have been begging for a while. We will have more for you on Hitman in the near future, so stay-tuned.
