OnePlus 2 Coming Out in Three Variants
As OnePlus 2 is almost near the finish line, the company has been announcing new features and technical specifications every week. It looks like that the upcoming smartphone from OnePlus will be coming in three different variants; A2001, A2003 and A2005.
The flagship phone has been on the Internet for past few days now, revealing new information and specs every now and then. Besides the three different variants coming out, the OnePlus 2 is also rumored to have a duo camera.
The A2001 and A2003 hit the GeekBench benchmarks just recently revealing some specifications. The A2003 variant will run on Snapdragon 810 octa-core Qualcomm processor with 1.55 GHz clock speed. It has reportedly received 4731 multi-core score and 1189 single-core score. The handset will also have a 4 GB RAM instead of 3 GB.
The A2003 is expected to be the cheaper model of OnePlus 2. As you all know, this model will be a little more expensive than the previous one this leaves room for a cheaper variant.
No information is available as of yet about A2005 variant, although it is highly likely that the difference will only be based on the build or space of the handset.
Business Insider published a few sketches of the upcoming device which has a dual camera mechanism at the back along with an extended fingerprint sensor. The firm confirms that there will be a fingerprint sensor but has not commented on anything else.
The Chinese phone maker will be announcing OnePlus 2 at a virtual reality event on July 27 and claims that their phone’s fingerprint sensor is faster than Apple’s.
