Microsoft Lumia 1030 Could Still be Alive
There isn’t enough evidence to support this but Microsoft Lumia 1030 could still be alive, running for its life.
There is still a chance for a 50 megapixel Windows 10 phone until the company itself announced that it is dead. There was always a Lumia 1020 sequel in the market, even before Nokia ever thought about selling off the company to Microsoft.
Redmond kept its focus mainly towards the low to mid-end mobile gear until the release of Windows 8.1 phone. The mobile phone was never materialized. Few days back, it was reportedly confirmed that Lumia 940 and 940 XL are all set to give Samsung Galaxy S6 some competition.
I think it is high time now that the kickass beast of the phones should rise and confirm its ‘non-cancellation’. Although the consensus was around the cancelation but you never know. There is always some hope until the product is officially thrown into the dust bin.
Microsoft has had the Lumia 1030 sporting a 5 inch display with the amazing 50 MP camera in the making since forever but never has it hit the production stage.
Steve Hemmerstoffer, French tech journalist, is vouching for the device. He is relying on gossip and has nothing substantial as of yet. For now, we only have an image of the front panel of the so called Lumia 1030.
There is no guarantee that the device in the image is of Microsoft, it can very easily be a prototype of some old phone. We cannot say for sure if the product is off the table until announced officially.
