AMD Radeon R9 Fury X Pump Block Design Improved to Reduce
It looks like the guys at AMD had been waiting for the community feedback with their tools all ready. I say that because we have picked up reports about a revised design of the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X.
Original reviews and feedback provided by the users who bought it complained that the pump block design that the cards originally came with were too noisy.
Now, apparently, the new batch of AMD Radeon R9 Fury X has come with an improved and revised pump block design that reduces the whining sound that they originally made.
So far it is not clear how too detect the old one from the new physically but at least one user has shared an image of what could be the new batch of cards with the reduced noise. Right now this is all we could find on its design.
If you check out the image shared by the same guy you will see that the prominent difference is between the Cooler Master badge on top of it. The version that has lesser whining noise comes with a two color chrome Cooler Master (OEM) badge.
The same user also claims that while some noise was still there when he installed and booted up the card but as soon as display driver was installed the noise got significantly lower.
Have you got your hands on the revised version of AMD Radeon R9 Fury X?
