Archos PC Stick Is a Half-inch Thick Windows 10 Computer For $99
Welcome to the world of mini PCs: In Just 4.45-inches long and 1.48-inches wide stick, Archos has packed a full functioning Windows 10 PC. However, the company has not announced official release date for its half-inch thick innovative PC.
The Archos PC Stick encases a quad-core 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3735F processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB expandable internal storage. The mini PC features a Bluetooth 4.0 and a USB port—so to facilitate wireless connections.
Intel is certainly the pioneer in the Stick PCs. In fact other companies, which have followed its Intel’s Compute Stick with their own devices, have used the same processor and hardware specs that were featured in Intel’s PC dongle. Lenovo’s recently announced ideacentre Stick 300, and BeeLink’s Pocket P2 appear to be highly influenced by Intel’s device.
Archos has distinguished itself from other Stick PC makers by choosing a different color for its dongle. Instead of common black, it has gone with blue color for its PC Stick.
The price of Archos Stick PC is also low as compared to other competitors. At $99, Archos is likely to affect the sales of Intel’s Compute Stick (price $150), Lenovo’s stick (price $130), and Beelink’s mini (price $300).
