Windows 10 Mobile Build 10149 Leaked Screenshots Show the Improvements
A day after Microsoft’s Gabe Aul confirmed that the company already had good candidates for release, newly leaked screen shots of Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview build 10149 have surfaced to suggest what Redmond has now to offer.
The new build promises several changes and improvement over the current build 10136. Microsoft has completed rebranding of its new browser as the Edge by designing an official logo for it. There are some changes in the layout of the browser as well.
The home of the browser’s address bar has been shifted to the bottom side of the screen. Moreover, a new merger between address bar and ellipsis menu seems an interesting choice. A new button has added in the address bar to ensure quick access of tabs.
Microsoft has brought several minor changes in the latest build of its upcoming version of OS. A complete row of shortcuts have been included in the action center. New shortcuts for flashlight, Cellular, Note, and Battery Saver are also observable in the screenshots.
There are some changes in the text of the ‘Volume’ menu, and voice mail button has been transferred to the bottom bar in the phone app, as Newowin notes.
Also, the latest build is being considered as more responsive as compared to the current, available to download to all Windows Insiders who chose Fast ring, build.
The leaked information seems quite authentic and the changes in the build quite reasonable. However, the complete range of improvements and changes will be better understood once Microsoft releases the build.
