Raspberry Pi Gets Official Case for Pi Model B and Pi Model B+
If you are into homebrew computing, chances are that you will be a fan of Raspberry Pi mini PC.
However, one thing that these guys were lacking at so far was an official case. This resulted in customers having to arrange for it themselves or run the thing bare. All this changes now, as the company has finally announced official case for it.
The website of Raspberry Pi has a detailed story on how the case came out to be, and you can check it out by hitting this link.
If you are not interested in reading stories bout how the manufacturers met the designers, then you should know that you can get it from a couple of stores that the manufacturers have mentioned here:
So in conclusion, it’s not just plastic. It’s about design, love, attention to detail, accuracy, iteration and overall damn hard work! We think you’ll love this new case as much as we do. It’s functional, it’s very good looking, and you can pick one up from our own Swag Store, element14, or RS Electronics. (If you’re outside the UK, their local representatives – MCM Electronics, Newark and Allied in the USA and some other locations – also have them available; and we expect to see the cases appearing in other partners’ stores soon.)
The case should work with Raspberry Pi Model B+ and Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and it will cost you $8.90.
