Samsung Registers a Trademark for its Upcoming Device, the Galaxy S6 Note
Samsung has reportedly filed an application for trademark registration for its upcoming device. Many suggested that this could be the ‘next-in-line’ Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus, as it turns out it is registered with Galaxy S6 Note name.
Samsung is planning to release their newest phablet sometime soon; this information was obtained by SamMobile. In the beginning of this month, it was rumored that Samsung will be introducing the bigger version of S6 Edge, ideally called the S6 Plus however, looks like now the company will be releasing the Note at the IFA trade show in September.
The Galaxy S6 Note is expected to have a 5.5 inch large glass screen which is 0.4 inch larger than the S6 Edge. The application was filed in South Korea and will enter market as a Note device, which ideally comes with full functionality of the S pen.
Most of the specs are expected to stay the same, there might be some changes though. We are guessing differences in the camera and graphics. Although one major change that is inevitable is the change in its processor. The S6 Edge had 64-bit Exynos 7420 SoC processor however; 64-bit Snapdragon 808 chipset will be powering the Samsung Galaxy S6 Note with Adreno418 GPU and a hexa-core CPU.
When we hear about the Note-line, it is kind of obvious that the next device in the flagship will be named the Note 5, Samsung has some other plans though. This news can be very easily false, since almost all of the companies usually register trademarks for the protection of their brands.
