Motorola May Release Moto G 2015 In July
Some rumors suggest that a new version of the popular Moto G smartphone is in works at Motorola.
According to a report published by the Day Herald, Motorola will bring upgraded features in the third generation of its popular flagship. As per the power source, Motorola will incorporate a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 610 processor with 2GB of RAM in the handset. The third generation model of Moto G will support 4G LTE connectivity.
Lastly, the report predicts July as the month of handset’s release.
Separately, the phone was also spotted on FlipKart’s website. The phone was said to arrive with 8GB of expandable internal memory and a white body shell. However, the website didn’t post any picture of the specified device. In fact, the ad, which was terming the device as the Moto G 3rd Gen was removed shortly.
If we believe in the rumors, the phone can come with a a large 5-inch or 5.2-inch screen. It will offer supposedly offer 1080p resolution.
The Moto G 2015 will be capable to take stunning images with its impressive 16-megapixel camera. In accordance to all aforementioned specs, the OS for the device has not been confirmed officially. But, as for as rumored suppositions are concerned, the handset should run on Android Lollipop.
The rumor actually follows Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing’s statement that indicated that the company was working on numerous new products. Even beyond, Lenovo CEO confirmed that “very exciting products” would be headed users’ way sometime in the summer.
Mr Yuanqing’s statements were linked to the “2015 version of the Moto X, and the Moto 360 smartwatch sequel,” observes the news source.
