How to Fix Samsung Galaxy S6 And S6 Edge RAM Issue Manually
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in March this year. With impressive hardware and attractive software features, both the high-end smartphones have gained huge popularity.
Later, however, we noticed some of the users of above mentioned handsets complaining for certain issues with the memory of the phones. More specifically, several users reported that RAMs of the Phone were unable to retain all the apps. The problem lied, at least seemingly, in the RAM management setting. Otherwise, 3 GB of RAM should be able to hold all the apps.
Whatever, an XDA Developers forum is forwarding a possible fix for the problem. To implement the fix, you can try the systematic procedure, given in the following paragraphs.
Note: This is meant to address developers or people with basic understanding of root access.
Step 1: Access build.prop under #DHA Properties.
Step 2: Change the following line in the code:
Step 3: After modifying the code, you will have to add the following 4 lines in it:
Step 4: You are almost done. Just locate where the additional properties are stored and remove duplicate lines of the following code:
hint: You can easily access properties other than DHA by scrolling down beyond the latter.
