Gresso is Offering a Gold Android Smartphone For $3000, Who is Buying?
Luxury smartphone maker Gresso has unveiled a new Gresso Regal Gold smartphone. Following company’s customs, the new arrival in its Regal series will be a limited edition.
Only 999 units of the expensive device will be manufactured; each unit will come with an 18k gold plate. The owners of the smartphones can choose their favorite pair of numbers to get it engraved on the golden insert.
Gresso has used golden PVD-coated titanium to make the case for the phone, which makes it durable and adorable. Each finished product (8.8mm thin Gresso Regal Gold) follows 8 grueling hours of machining and milling.
To maintain the uniqueness, a single craftsman works on only one device. Thus, another three hours are spent in directional polishing of the special handset.
The stupendous appearance of the Regal Gold may throw onlookers into oblivion but, of course, what they will be looking at, will be but an Android-based smartphone. The version of its operating system is not known though.
Regal Gold comes equipped with an unnamed 1.5 GHz quad-core processor.
If we look at other specs, it features a
5-inch 1080p touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie snapper, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
As per the connectivity, it does support 3G. Perhaps it should support 4G as well, for its eye-popping starting price. Which is $ 3000.
