Microsoft RM-1104 Passes through Indonesia, Can Be Lumia 940?
Microsoft has reportedly got a new unnamed Windows Phone certified from Indonesian authorities.
According to an online news publication, the device with model number RM-1104 was spotted in Indonesia. Its model number seems quite familiar when seen with the previous RM-1106, which was recently revealed by GFXBench.
The revealing source has listed its specs: a 5.2-inch display, a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, a 20-megapixel PureView camera, and a 5-megapixel front facing selfie snapper.
The above given high-end specs eventuated in speculations, that considered it another version of the Lumia 940.
However, because the most recent report is sharing scarce details, no solid association between the models can be construed. That is, despite the fact that Microsoft is working on prototypes in multiple regions of the world, we can’t foresee the certified model as essentially the Lumia 940.
According to various news reports, it can be safely predicted that Redmond will release at least one high-end smartphone. These predictions are greatly leveraged by the fact that firm will be releasing Windows 10 Mobile this year, and that one flagship should accompany it.
Along with the Lumia 940, Lumia 940 XL is also being anticipated. The latter model will be given superiority by empowering it with an octa-core Snapdragon 810. In contrast, as mentioned above, 808 hexa-core processor will manage operations of the Lumia 940.
Microsoft will incorporate 3D user interaction software in both the phones. While an iris scanner will be specifically packed with Lumia 940 XL. All the specs are not officially confirmed.
